- Membership
- The Kennebec Art Club welcomes all painters regardless of your medium or
level of skill.
• We are a community of friends who gather monthly to encourage fresh
enthusiasm for the life of an artist while expanding our skills through
discussion, guest speakers and demonstrations.
• In fair weather we carry easels out into the changing moods of light and
atmosphere for shared experiences en plein air. • We pursue recognition
through public art shows and sales of our individual pieces.
• Through meetings and a newsletter we are kept informed of art events up
and down the coast ~~ gallery openings, lectures, and further opportunities
to display our work.
• Members come from all around the region, including Bath, Brunswick,
Topsham, Phippsburg, Gorham, Bristol, Georgetown, Lisbon Falls, Arrowsic,
Durham, Windham, and Portland.
